Catholic Ed Sa Enterprise Agreement

As you know, our respective negotiating teams have been working for almost two years to reach agreement on a number of work-related issues. Despite good faith, vigorous discussions and hard work, we have not been able to find an amicable solution on some issues. Staff of the Diocese of Broken Bay are subject to the following conventions: The minimum fee on our schools is described in the Catholic Education SA Enterprise Agreement 2017. Enterprise agreements are enterprise-level agreements between employers and workers on the terms of employment policy. As you know, our respective negotiating teams have been working for almost two years on an agreement on a number of work-related issues. Despite good faith, vigorous discussions and hard work, we have not been able to find an amicable solution on some issues. Together, we still have a long way to go to draft the revised document, make it available for review and then resume the voting process. Click here to visit the Landincentives Program page. We also agreed that the Enterprise Agreement, approved by the Fair Labour Commission, would enter into force for a period of three years from the date of approval by the Fair Labour Commission, if the vote and enterprise agreement were successful. We plan to resume negotiations on the next enterprise agreement in 2019.

We write to you on behalf of the 16 Catholic school employers and the Independent Union of Education (SA) Institution. However, both sides agree that we want to end the negotiations so that staff can benefit as quickly as possible from the increases negotiated. We are aware that catholic school staff, who are so committed to the children and young people they serve, deserve their salaries, increased allowances and additional payment. In this context, each party has agreed to withdraw our respective rights and offers, vote on the proposed enterprise agreement and authorize wage increases and wage refunds. The code of conduct articulates the standards of conduct demanded by all employees of the Catholic SA. It also helps all employees to clearly understand their expectations and responsibilities and duties during working hours and outside of working hours. It is available for download below.
